Anybody know any, or which cons are closest? My parents wont let me go as a mermaid to Anime Boston D:

Which part of MA? There is Genericon, next weekend, in Albany, NY which is not far from the MA border.

NY isn't too far but I kinda feel like that isn't the right convention for a mermaid lol. Do you know any cons more mermaid oriented?

Would GraniteCon be an option for you? I have a table there. I will have all my mermaid artwork on display and I'll be revealing my new mermaid at the convention as well. ;)
