We all know the famous Traci Hines, but what about other mers? At MegaCon on Saturday I saw a woman dressed as a mermaid. I was going to mention Mernetwork if I got to see her again but at that moment we were in a hurry to get in line for a panel. 10192

I loved her costume--it's pretty different from a traditional mermaid!

I just hope she isn't from a TV/movie/anime/etc. and I don't recognize her, lol.

She could definitely take little Morticia-Addams babysteps, but I don't know besides that, lol. She was eating when we were there and she had to stand up about every two minutes for a picture. xD

She is cosplaying "Irenes" from "Chrono Cross" ;)

Wow, that's a really great re-creation of the costume.

I also just found a) she's Tarapotamus and b) I should have posted this in Merfolk Cosplay. >_<

I met her at Megacon as well and we chatted about Mer-Stuff before I had to run off. She is a great cosplayer and I hope to do a project together in the future.

Hello! Yes that was me at Mega and I only just joined the forums today! A few hours ago, actually. Yes I was cosplaying Irenes from Chrono Cross, and no I could not walk XD I came to the con with crutches, rode around in a wheelchair for a bit and then went back to crutches for the cosplay contest. It's not easy, but that's the cost!

Yup! We talked for just a second before he had to scurry off, and then linked me to this when he got home, which is good bc otherwise I would have forgotten what the website was! :X I'm so glad too! I have sooo many mermaid costumes I want to do lol

I wish I could have chatted longer I'm just glad I found you on DA and recognized your piercing. :D LOL Hopefully a meet up can happen next year.

Tarapotamus: Here's what I was wearing at MegaCon (although the sign was in my backpocket when I saw you, haha). Ever seen 3rd Rock from the Sun? I was dressed like Harry Solomon (I had the coat custom made although my clothes didn't match him =\).
