I'm in Florida and I was wondering what other Florida mers charge hourly? (Sorry if this is already out there, but I couldn't find anything.)

I think it varies between 150 and 300 an hour.

That's probably for bigger name mers like Melissa, and also that it really depends on what type of performance you're doing :P

I'm not in florida but I would like to know. I do a large range of things (i.e. face painting, swim, story telling, games, etc.) Does everyone charge differently depending on the gig? For example would you charge differently for a non-profit thing opposed to a birthday party?

I know Raina doesn't charge anything for non-profit charity sort of events. And yeah, it completely depends on the gig on how much to charge.

My prices start at $150 for a basic swim. For additional services like makeovers, gifts, fire-eating, etc, there are additional fees or other appropriate packages.

I'm based in Pensacola Beach, so my fees could quite possibly differ from other pro mermaids in bigger places like Orlando or Miami.
