Thank you so much everyone! ^__^ I'm blown away at the response I've gotten!! Thank you <3 Its far from perfect but I learnt SO much making it; I know my next one will be even better! :D

Lilium, OH MAH GAWD. <3 haha! It looks perfect!! XD I might be heading up to Queensland at the end of this year, but we are going North... maybe I could do a quick stop off South? hehe!

I'm actually off to Phuket in two weeks for my big sisters wedding... and I'm taking my tail!! I just purchased a monofin bag, which, although my tail might be a little squished, should get it safely on the plane and back! :D I'm planning on visiting the reefs in it- and my parents are all too keen to take some photos/footage while I'm there! (I'm very lucky to have a supportive family). I CANT WAIT! <3

Just a question about your body cast, when you say that you took the duct tape model in a few inches, could you please explain what you mean? Did you just wrapi it extra tight, or take it off somehow?
Thanks!

normally when you take in a duct-tape form, you draw 2 parallel lines down each side (OR the front and back). Each of these should be half the measurement you want to take it in (so that they total the amount you want) and then remove those strips between the lines and tape the form back together. You might need to remove some of the filling to do so.
