Hi! I'm Octavia (or rather, that name will not leave me alone and therefore I think it's my mersona name!) and I hail from the PNW! I found mermaiding by accident through a doll forum where someone has a few dolls who have their own tails and the interest spawned from there. Right now I'm a mermaid in spirit - I haven't been swimming in 6+ years because of body image issues. I hope to change that soon and meet some mers in person someday! Maybe touch a few tails and take some pictures. :)

Anyway, it's very nice to meet you all!

Oh wow, not bad at all! Only about an hour, maybe an hour and a half away from me! So a meeting is actually possible! If you don't mind a mer with no tail, of course. I'm uh... working on getting my sea legs, so to speak. XD

I tried to set up a meet up for the NPP (North Pacific Pod) but couldn't get anyone to come to a range I could actually get to. I'm kinda stuck to an area where I can borrow a car, mine's broke down

I am also very close to the Portland area (Vancouver, WA)
I would love to do a meet up soon! Last one I went to was up in Seattle, loved it, but not the drive lol

Oh what season is she in? I've only ever seen the first season so I had no idea a pony existed with that name. I actually picked it because I was born in October and I love octopi. :D

And thank you for the encouragement! I know swimming will help me lose weight and tone up so that's an exciting prospect!
