I don't know if anyone else has seen this, but its pretty cool. There were 150+ mers in Germany (I believe with Katrina Felton??) at one pool! And it happened only yesterday!

Around 1100 visitors had flocked to the unprecedented action in the pool hall.

One of those times where I wish I had a finished tail and lived in Germany! *pout* <3 That looks like it would have been soo much fun to go to. I hope I can find a meetup close to where I live one of these days

I usually moniter as much "mer news" as possible, and I haven't seen anything about this! Though I suppose it was on another continent.. :P

Mermaids are huge in Germany, people love them and there are meetups. There's even a German-language mer-forum http://www.mermaidmania.de/forum/ . If you go to http://Google.de and search under meerjungfrau or meerjungfrauen, gazillions of links will show up. Nixe, nymphe & seejungfrau will turn up stories too.

Oh I have no doubt! I have heard of a great deal of German mers :) I think the event was really cool!
Oh thats cool their is a whole German forum, ill check that out.
