New Blue/Purple Silicone Tail by Mermaid Creations for Sale

I have a silicone tail by Mermaid Creations for sale. I'm asking $900 + $60 shipping. It is a full silicone tail with a ocenika merfin inside. It was worn once for about 5 minutes, it has never been swam in or used since. To order one from Mermaid Creations is $1200 + shipping, so this is a great savings! I am willing to make payment arrangements if you'd need a little time to pay.

The tail is purple and navy blue, with some spots. It was made for someone 5,9" tall, a size 8 pants, and size 9 feet..... If you are around that size or a little bigger, it will fit you because the silicone is very stretchy.

Pros: No waiting! It's ready to go to it's new home! And is still new considering it has never been swam in or used.

Cons: The tail came to us with some cosmetic issues. There is a while bubble on the back, pink silicone blobs on the tips of the fluke, black specks embedded in the fluke, paint drips, and rough texture in some areas. (See the pictures below) These won't be an issue if you are using the tail for personal use, photos, or swimming. You cannot see them in regular photos or in the water. You can have these issue repaired if you want, you will just have to pay for the shipping to Mermaid Creations and wait for them to repair it.<br>

I don't mean to be rude or start anything but... What happened to the back of it? Did it come like that? It just seems like a rather serious flaw if you paid all that money for a tail. Did you contact Jesse about it?

I could be wrong, but from all the photos on his FB page (http://www.facebook.com/MermaidCreationsByMermanJesse/photos_stream), that just seems that's how he does seams.

yeah, I don't mean to be rude either but...those cosmetic issues are kinda...major. The silicone seems rather sloppy in quite a few places, those seams on the back are not very aesthetically pleasing, and those paint drips... I wouldn't think it was such a big deal if only one tail had issues like this, but the other blue one you posted seems to be rather sloppy as well. :/

But to stay positive about it, I'm sure it would be a lovely tail for photoshoots where you could photoshop all the seams and flaws out if need be.

Why does it look like, there is dog hair on the fluke?

I see the hairs too. Although it's very possible they're just on the tail not in the tail. Silicone can be very sticky when it comes to certian things- like small hairs or glitter- or so I've heard.

Either way I hope this tail finds a good home :)

The dog hair is not part of the tail....lol it's just that everything sticks to it and when I layed it out it grabbed everything on the ground. Don't worry, I'll give it a nice bath before sending it out.

This is how the tail came to us. I did talk to Jesse about it. He said I could send it back and have everything repaired. Except the seams, because that is just how he does them. As you can see in the top picture, none of the flaws are noticeable until I took close ups. That's why I said it would be ok for pictures.

That is awesome :) Thanks for that! I was just curious! I think it's a fabulous tail if that's the case. Plus it's a really good price for a silicone tail. I really hope it finds a good home!

I am pretty flexible about taking payments, just tell me what you are able to do.

As for the length, it will be too long for you. It can be cut down, but Im not sure how much without affecting the fit of the tail. I just sent it to Jessee for repair so Im not able to do any ,measuring but maybe jessee could answer if it would be able to be cut down for you.
