Water pranks thread

Drucilla posted a great snowman prank sometime ago that I thought was hilarious. I love pranks. So I came across this prank played on people in a pool and I thought it might be fun to have a thread for water-pranks, whether played on mers or ordinary humans- just to give a bit of comic relief.

Perhaps some way of pranking people into thinking they'd seen a real Mer?

There's a big party in the river where I live once I get my professional tail I am going to get a distant pic of me swimming in the river and post flyers up or people to watch for the mermaid during that boating party and see what happens lol
