Hello everyone! I finally decided to join mernetwork after years of being fascinated with the world of mermaiding. I discovered it a couple years ago, but was waaaay too intimidated to do anything about it. But after seeing how much fun it can be, I FINALLY got myself a monofin, and with the swimming season coming up, I thought that this was the perfect time to start! I have no idea what name I wanted for this site, so I went with my standby. Otherwise, feel free to call me Britt; many of my friends do! Hope to talk to you guys soon! :D

Thanks!! I went with a Finis Wave since it seemed like a good beginner monofin. I was so worried about it fitting (since I've heard it runs smaller than advertised) but my feet fit in there snug so hopefully my first swim in it will be successful!

A Wave is pretty good, I like the shape of the blade but yea, I think the footpockets are a bit snug. I have pretty small feet though so I don't have many problems but I'm scared for the day (if that ever arrives) where they break ):
