Lag problems?

Just wondering if it's just me or not?
The server seems to be a bit laggy and sometimes I just get completely kicked off.

I don't think I've had that issue lately. I know they are having server issues on the site though.

Is not being able to get on the server at all considered a lag problem? Sometimes when I try to get to the site, I get a error page that says that it couldn't reach the server. This happened a lot yesterday. I though at first it was just my phone...

It only happened to me once yesterday today I got disconnected 3 times within an hour.

I keep getting almost everytime that Mernetwork is not responding an it lags out. Going on 5 time now tring to reply to this post.

Last night about 10:00 est, I got bogged down on mernet.

Just a moment ago... for a few minutes, the server was unresponsive. Error said it might be a capacity/server load issue. How's the hosting been lately? Pages loads are usually slow for me here. :(

Not sure about that. I've been getting it pretty much since I came back, and still get it when there's less than 10 members on (guests included)

it is, it's been an issue for a while. There are some things the admin can do, but they are extensive and will take several days. Iona can't really do it, it has to be Mal, but he has no time. Sean has offered to help and tried to nail him down but I think it's just hard for him between school and work. :/ until they can make the big changes, it'll just keep happening. remember, it's not just guests and logged in users that cause it, it's the search bots for google and bing etc too. Along with the power people are using at the time e.g. chat box, attachments, private messaging etc.

Iona spent weeks researching it on the admin forums to see what else she could do. And certain IPs will always have more trouble than others

I've gotten used to it. Learned to be patient with it :) Usually just give it a minute and then hit refresh and it loads

yup happened to me too!

The server is temporarily unable to service your request due to maintenance downtime or capacity problems. Please try again later.
Additionally, a 404 Not Found error was encountered while trying to use an ErrorDocument to handle the request.
