Nice find. Usually I don't read fanfictions, but this one isn't too bad.

The only thing that's bothering me is the names... I mean Philip was the one who have her the name syrena , right? Confused ..

I always felt like there were missing scenes or something. They just swam away and that was it. lol

Wasn't POTC4 based on a novel? That might fill in missing parts of the story.

Hi Raina,
so glad to get a comment from you. Have you read the chapters? What did you think?
I'm interested to hear your opinion. :)
@ Alveric... I didn't read the book but as much as i can tell, i'm pretty much satisfied with the fan-fiction i found because it's quite a good story. Even if i can imagine that it might be very different from the book.
@ MermaidAndrea... Indeed, you might have a point but i like to think that Philip hit right on the spot when he choose the name for her. If they were destined to be together, it might be possible through the connection they had.

I actually tried reading it and didn't enjoy it. It seems to be mostly about the sex, and the story came second. I got interested again when Philip says something about hating mermaids completely out of nowhere, and I wanted to know all about that, but the writer forgot about it. I also didn't feel like they were believable as the same characters from the movie, though the writer did seem interested in developing syrena in particular. I read to where syrena's sister is telling her story for why she hates syrena. Should I bother reading more?
Maybe if I could track down the novel...? Anyone have the title?

I can't remember. When I can, I'll have to go back and look at the movie credits again.
