Anyone with drawing skills and spare time

Hi im mermaid Sabrina,ive been a mer for a while but just joined the mernetwork, im getting my first siacone tail and i saw a fish i want my tail to be inspired by,i can draw well but i have trouble when it comes to tails and the coloring ,and this fish made me think that its body and tail could make a amazing tail,but could one of you help me out by drawing up a tail concept.

ok so I don't have pink in my paints so I did my best to mix a color..not really that close but here's my try.

I tried to go for more of the back side fin then the actually fin of the fishy. didn't come out exactly how I wanted but given my limited paint.. I hope you like it =]

These are two separate ideas for the tail. The one on the left just has the white on the side for more of a koi fish kind of look and the tail on the right was meant to have the white go all the way down but it looked strange so I thought the fish would just be more of an interesting idea (not so much a design in the end >.<U). Hope you like it!

I just used the basic fluke from merbellas for the design but it should be able to apply another tail. They are separate designs but both fluke are somewhat translucent (unless you want otherwise obviously). Hope you like 'em! ^w^

I'm a 24 years old merman and i'm saving up for a blue silicone tail from Raven (Merbella Studios). Obviously, what you did for XMermaidMarinaX was close to my dream tail since it was with my favorite design from Merbella Studio (with the Angler fluke) and my favorite color (blue). :drool:

I'm glad you like them! ^w^ Here's some ideas for the Powder Blue Surgeon. I tried to go for masculine but I think it ended up being too flamboyant on the second one. I'll be working on the other fish you sent me hopefully some time later this week. Let me know what you want you like on these tails; I'd be happy to modify them!

The tail on the left is beautiful, i really like your idea about making a french armorial bearing on the tail. This one especially represents the kings of France.

I haven't done the other fish yet but I tweaked the design for the angler that you seemed to really like. The left is the old design, and the right is the new one. To make sure, you meant the colours seemed a bit off right?

Gah! Sorry about the wait, I end up being a little busier than I thought I would be. Here they are! I love the pattern on the fish but it was a bit tricky to translate it.

In response to your earlier post, yes, it does look more natural, but I was just throwing it on just in case you wanted the fluke to look closer to the actual fish's tail. ^w^

What kind of markings do you have in mind? Were you thinking tribal, jagged, smooth, bubbles, etc?
You could try taking objects or animals you like and making them minimalistic with lines to help get some ideas. Like ice cream, or a certain shape of fish? Or maybe have a kind of frame by frame animation thing?
