Hi! My name is Juliette and I am fairly new to the mermaiding community!
I've loved mermaids for as long as I can remember. In my early childhood, Disney's The Little Mermaid would be watched on a daily bases, and this later grew into an obsession with Han Christian Andersen's story as well. Around this time last year, I did a load of mermaid tail research but didn't have the means for buying a realistic one. Now, after saving quite a bit, I'm looking for a tail that I can get for about $500. (leaning on merberry's tails right now)
I live in a typical suburban town in New Jersey and go to a typical suburban school during the day, though I am French (je parle francais). Snow White is my spirit animal (I just reaaaallly love Disney). Speaking of animals, I have pet rats as well. I also wear a corset, am a vegetarian (no fish eating of course), and have flapper hair.
I'm starting to feel really awkward writing about myself so much, so I'll just cut it short and say I'm glad to begin my mermaid adventure!
