Not sure if this should go here, but since I'm not selling my tail yet this seemed like the best place to put it...

I made a fabric tail last year but only swam in it twice before the winter came and it was too cold to swim. Since my partial sillicone tail should be arriving within the next month or so, I'm thinking about selling the fabric one. I just don't know how much to sell it for! I was thinking about $80 (monofin not included) just to get back what I spent on the materials. You can see pictures of the tail on my profile if you're intrested in what it looks like, it's red & glimmery and betta fish inspired and designed to fit a Finis Wave monofin.

So, what do you mers think? Please and thanks!

Have a bubbly day! :mermaidkiss:

What measurements did you use? I have a tall friend who is interested in mermaiding but neither of us can sew. Also, what monofin would fit it?

Did you read the posting all the way through? lol. She said right there it's designed to fit a Finis Wave.

Sorry, I have visual processing issues. I didn't mean to be inconvenient.

Oh, no, it's all right. Sorry, I came off as a little harsh there. >_<

Mermaid Katia, no worries I do it all the time(: Anyways, I doubt it would fit your tall friend as I am a more short and curvy mer, but I'll give you the measurments just in case!

Hips --> ankles: 36in
Hips: 30in
Mid-thigh: 26in
Knees: 21in
Mid-calf: 19in
Ankles: 15in

I just measured the tail (lost the paper I wrote down the numbers on and have lost weight since then) so the measurments might be slighly iffy, maybe .5 inches off. Also, the fluke extends beyond the end of the monofin so if these measurments kind of fit her but the tail isn't long enough she might be able to pull it off (see my profile for pictures)
