Floating plants as accessories?

Hiya!

I don't post a lot, I'm newish here, but I finally buckling down to work on accessories and whatnot so by the time summer rolls around I'm good to go.

Has anyone ever used these floating lilypad plants for any accessories? I was thinking a headpiece....

I am sure they'd be lovely, especially if you mostly swim in freshwater environments! If you swim in the ocean, it may be a little out of place. I know Delilah (http://mernetwork.com/index/showthread.php?3998-Alexandria-designs) does some lovely water lily head dresses - I've asked her to make one for me, except finding good quality white water lilies is harder than you'd expect!
Those Amazon ones look nice, but it seems odd that the customer images don't look like the advertised set.

Lol, true....but I spent a spell down south and the saltmarshes sustain some very pretty flowers! Unfortunately, hard to find in silk so I was looking for something also swamp/marsh related. Also, I think they're pretty. :) Oooo...that Lilypad top is amazing!

I know this is unrelated, but in my confused sleepiness, i just read this as floating pants as accessories. i got a few giggles out of it c:

I'd love to see some more water lily accessories. The foam lily looks very nice in the photo, but i assume it's not as nice in person?

I know a couple of mers found a lily pad bra (as opposed to a shell bra)

@Shymer, it looks good without inspecting it too closely. I'd use it for my head dress if I could, but it's not made for water use and I don't want it to fall apart xD
