Tail supplies in Australia?

Hi All,

I've been looking everywhere for tail supplies in Australia, I was wondering if anyone could help. These are the things I'm looking for, as cheap as possible:


Finis Rapid monofin
patterned lycra spandex with some foil in it
thin neoprene
swimwear elastic

Can anyone help with this? I've looked everywhere, but everything is hugely expensive on postage online and there's not much product available in stores.

this is going to be hard especially in Aus, I don't think your going to be able to get these materials cheaply. the monofin you could check at any good sporting store or ebay. Neoprene will be expensive I found this place http://www.linkron.com.au/product_details.php?prodID=12&subCatDiv=2&subProd=3when i was looing myself, You will find that most neoprene comes in "sheets" for your lycra or spandex i would try spotlight. Its hard to find what your looking for I know, but this is aus and everthing is sooo overpriced.. good luck

Spotlight it now seems stocks neoprene. I was in there yesterday and found it by accident. it's about $35 a meter and 1.3 meters wide.
I saw it in red, green, yellow, pink and black.
I'm going back soon so I can buy some!

Good to know! I've been thinking of starting on some neoprene tails so it'll be nice to be able to go in and actually feel the stuff before I buy it.

I never had the luxury to feel mine i bought mine online from cairns but its excellent quality. you can get it in different thickness. i got the thinnest which is even quiet thick. however i paid alot more. spotlight is great thought thanks for sharing.

at spotlight at the moment they're selling 5 different nylon/spandex fabrics with foiled scales in blue,green,silver and gold and they are now selling neoprene in pink, blue,green,yellow and black too :)
