Shipping to Australia pricing??

Hi guys need some help, I have a mer who wants a top who lives in south Australia. So I went to fedex to check the shipping thinking it would be 30-40 and the lady said 250????? I then went through online and got 110...I troed usps and still got 60. So my question is what shipping company is the best to use? The weight is around 1.5 lbs and in a box around 4x4x4 inches. I want to get the best deal for the customer but I'm at a loss after gping through so many companies and getting a very high cost. :(

eep, that is alot! As a South Aussie I can tell you getting anything from the US or Europe is super pricey postage. My merbellas tail via FedEx was over $400 cos it weighed so much.
Although a box thats less than a kilogram shouldn't be THAT much? (had to do an lbs conversion to work that out, haha!) :S I'm pretty sure postage for a Merbella's scale bra was about $40 (as I purchased one too), and that was FedEx. I hope you can find an alternative! <3

I got a quote this morning of about 20 so that makes me feel much better. I asked Fedex again and the manager was not very helpful =/ but hey at least I found an affordable price!

My favourite band was having a super cheap deal for an album release, but the postage was so much I couldn't afford it anyway :( it sucks being so isolated!
