Some friends and I are going to XCon in Myrtle Beach. We'll probably be at the Convention just for the Saturday, and I won't be in my tail at the convention, but when my friend booked the hotel the front desk person was really excited when she mentioned I'd be in the pool as a mermaid.
We're staying at the Hotel Blue on the Strip. They have a pool with swim-up pool bar and a lazy river, and you get access to all of the Captain's Quarters pools and such too. If anyone else is interested in going I'd be happy to call them and find out if there would be any issues using the pool for mermaiding that weekend.
Bonus (in my opinion): It overlaps with the Spring Bike Rally! I <3 motorcycles.
