This is the inspiration color-scheme for my new DragonSkin Silicone tail. I just made the order of two gallons (which is really four gallons) of Medium 10. If anyone has free time and good skills at the computer (I suck!) I would LOVE for you to draw up some mermaid tail designs with this color scheme! Thanks so much!!!!!! I'm excited!

THE SPOTS ARE AWESOME~! -spazzing- GORGEOUS IDEAS THERE. I feel so plain by comparison.....If I did a tail design it'd be a dalmation lyretail mollie with ONE orange spot....like pne of the two dalmation lyretails I have in my fishietank.

No, I don't think they're weird. Seems like they'd be hard to paint but I don't know much about that myself, haha.

I decided to change up the colors on this one. I want to use this as my 'practice tail' until I make another one for the clown trigger fish!

Thanks guys..yeah the silicone dries in 5 hours so I've been popping each part out as quickly as possible. The other side is drying but soon as thats cured I can attach the front/back body together..then attach it to the fluke..then walah..I'll be done. I didn't have enough for a dorsal or side fins..something I'll have to lookout for on my next tail.

For those that want to try and make their own tail, make sure you don't make accessories until AFTER your tail. I made a bra and 3 starfish first and wish I wouldn't have so I could have had a dorsal on my tail...oh well. Learning for next time.

are you still thinking about selling this? Maybe you should hold off on painting it until you have someone who wants it. you may find it sells easier that way, because people like to have it painted the colors they choose.
