I plan on dyeing my hair like this since my tail is blue, and my nails are pretty much always painted blue now. So yeah.. Whadaya think? I'm a little bit darker, more like a beige? So yeah, opinions and such appreciated <3 I didn't know where to put this :$

It's really pretty--my sister is going to go there pretty soon too, I think. If you want it to stay on when wet though, it probably won't work very well unless you use a very good dye or have it re-dyed really often. ANYWHO. IT'S GORGEOUS THOUGH. <3

looks really awesome--- I want to try something very non permanent, as my job and lifestyle wont permit me to have such awesomely blue or green hair...hmmm

Would a salon thing be good? I can look up ways to keep it in longer maybe. I'd only do it at a salon cuz I dont trust myself not to mess it up

I would DEFINITELY go to a salon for it. If I were you, I'd wait until a time when you didn't plan on swimming too much like fall or winter to try it so it will last longer. Most dye tends to last some 4-6 weeks or so before it washes out and chlorine/saltwater will diminish that length quite a bit.

Try Kendi oil spray to help keep your hair in good condition. I dye mine every 6-8 weeks (and touch up the roots on top and around my face every 2-3 weeks), and I KNOW my hair wouldn't be as long or as healthy as it is now without it. Spray it on after you get out of the shower, before you brush and dry it.

Also, if you want your color to last longer, use a sulfate-free shampoo and conditioner, and wash with cold water. What brand of dye do you use? I may be able to recommend a few ^_^

I know that feeling. I work at a daycare/preschool. I've wanted to dye my hair purple for forever, but it ain't happening.

I actually plan on going to a salon if I ever dye my hair. Thank you for that advice. I might actually just start using my organic shampoo and conditioner if I use that since its you know, no chemicals. :) I've never dyed my hair before.. :/ But I really want to do this

Organic doesn't mean no chemicals. Organic means the products weren't treated with man-made pesticides before being put into your shampoo. If you color your hair, you will need a sulfate free shampoo. Unless it says Sulfate Free or does not list a type of sulfate on the label, it might contain sulfates, which strip hair of it's color. Also, salons don't usually know how to color hair crazy colors. Make sure they do NOT use Manic Panic and instead go for Pravana Chroma Silk or Special Effects hair dyes, as they are much stronger, more vibrant and last longer. As someone who has been dying her hair "crazy" colors for 15+ years, I know what I'm talking about.

I'll have to get some hair tips from you, Moonflower; I'm always on the hunt for new hair products that will help my hair grow long and strong... it's sooo fine and damages easily, even though I'm very careful with it.

Thats a great bit of advice, thanks :) I don't see any sulfates listed in ingredients or whatever. Aubrey Organics. Anyway I'll probably be dyeing it in a month. ^_^ I'll put up a pic or somethin after.
