Hey guys! I really want to make a fabric tail with this fabric as the body
http://spandexworld.com/c3/catalog/product/11160
and this fabric as the fluke
http://spandexworld.com/c3/catalog/product/4141

If anyone could give me instructions on how to sew and set this up i'd really appreciate it! Or if there is a tutorial or another thread about this already could someone redirect me?
Thanks so much!

Hmm.. I can't really give instructions but maybe tips.
It's very much like making a normal fabric tail only you won't be needing to cut out the fluke part on the body fabric. I guess cut out the body fabric into your body shape and for the fabric of the fluke cut it round the monofin you will be using.
It will kinda appear like a latex or silicone tail idea with glue (you'll be sewing) the body over the fluke. Kinda like this as I fail at describing. -> http://sphotos-b.xx.fbcdn.net/hphotos-prn1/p480x480/69480_638722836153907_75074508_n.jpg

But other than that it's pretty much following the same normal tutorials. :)

I'm going to be attempting to do this within the next 2 weeks. I have my spandex, but I need to modify my monofin before I start all the cutting and everything. I don't want to top stitch the body onto the fluke, so I'm planning on playing around with doing a normal right sides together seam into a point. I'm not 100% on how it's going to work, but I can keep you posted.
