Fun Random Mer Things To Do!

I was thinking that we should just have a thread with a bunch of mer things to do when we can't go swimming, are bored, or both! I'm not sure if this has already been done, but I'm just gonna do it anyway.
Some things I like to do are:

1.Watch mer movies such as Aquamarine, POTC On stranger tides, Splash, and Mermaids, and shows like H2O: Just Add Water

2.Sketch and design tails

3.Take a cool bath in my tail

4.Write more of my book on mers

5.Make jewelry with sea glass and seashells found around my room

6.Go on MerNetwork

So there's a few mer related things I like to do when I'm bored and can't go swimming.
What are some things you like to do?

I like to prance around in public wearing mermaid inspired outfits , go to the beach in cold weather and listen to Celtic music / metal , and entrance people with my singing during karaoke. ( seriously I have no idea how good I am of a singer ... I consider myself sub par and I'm always practicing to improve my vocal range, but my friends tell me im amazing and they get too scared to sing after..:| )

OHOh I also like going around my neighborhood scouting for ponds and streams that are worthy of sketching /painting a backdrop for mermaids...

That sounds like so much fun! I wish I could sketch bodies of water, but there aren't any close by to where I live except the Lake de Geneve. :/

Streams are ok too. I actually prefer larger bodies of water but small ponds and streams are perfect for sketches ^_^ that way I can draw tiny mermaids.

-I make mermaid accessories, a set for each tail I have or plan
-design new tails :D
-scour the net for info about tailmaking techniques, materials, and stuff
-lots of reading up about pools (I hope we can get a lil one)
-reading about lakes and rivers everywhere
-reading about travel destinations with good swimming/freediving opportunities in case I'm able to travel

I love painting and drawing myself as a mermaid LOL this is probably my number one thing! I've done so many, it's a fun way to play with tail colors 13056
In this way I'm having fun imagining being a real mermaid, creating accessories (I actually bought a starfish clip off etsy like this, another pastime) and playing with stories in my head. I like online shopping for art supplies and OF COURSE, watching Hannah videos and aquamarine/ h2o/ mako/ ect. I also enjoying playing with my hair and makeup, trying new looks! And taking the worlds longest baths :)

I've been planning some mermaid outings for when I get my tail. I'm going to buy a wagon, like the kind parents use to haul their kids around, and have a friend pull me around the zoo/aquarium while I'm in my tail. I'm going to go in character and keep a spray bottle of water and a towel with me. When my friend gets tired of pulling the wagon I'll dry off and "grow legs."

I make a list of all the local water spots I want to visit. There is a restaurant on the river I want to swim up to in my tail and order from. My Brother already agreed to run the camcorder.
