Hey guys I should be getting my tail soonish (Raven just has to ship it) so I was wondering if there were any plans for a MI mermaid meet up this summer?

I would love to swim with some other mermaids in Michigan sometime. It just depends what part of Michigan because I will either be in Wisconsin or Illinois this summer.

I'd love to meet up with you guys!! I'm not getting my tail from Fish Butts till end of july but I do have my "practice tail" that I can get up and running :D it depends when though because I'll be out of the country from June 24th to July 13th :p

I'm free at the end of the week most of the summer, I think it'd be great if we could do a ren fair meet up of Merbellas come again and then do a swim somewhere?

That'd be cool :D I just made a top for someone going to the ren fair so I'll see if she wants to meet as well :D We'll have to think of some swimming spots though.... I can't really think of any in the Chicago area :p

I haven't gotten my tail yet either from Fish Butts, but yours is stunning! Raven always does a fantastic job :) I'll have to check in with my parents however on the ren fair. Holly is a bit of a hike from Chicago :p

Just so everyone knows....the Pirate Festival will be in Grand Haven, MI August 5-11 and on the weekend (9-11) a few mermaids will be hanging out in the lagoon. I am to be one of them. I think there will be at least 3-4 each day. I know that I will be there the whole weekend. So that is always an option for coming. Plus I mean....Pirates! come on who better to hang out with? LOL anyways if you guys want more info just ask I will be happy to provide

Sounds fun but its a 3 hour drive xD I'd have to think about that one :) but it DOES have pirates which is big plus

Marissa: Awesome. I should be there friday sat and sun...My name is Adella and I will have a full silicone pink tail (it won't be hard to find me considering that I am the only pink mermaid...so if you happen to see me make sure that you tell me who you are...Marissa from MN and of course get your picture taken with me :) we always love that. got a lot going on for it too...skits...stage...all that stuff. The monumental thing tho is the arrival friday night at 6pm. all the ships come into port and all of us mermaids will be carried off the ships as prisoners ...should be cool

Unfortunately, no...the skit is for the mermaid persona of the pirate festival. Kind of like a play between the pirates and mermaids for the benefit of the kids but I will pm you

Adella, that is so cool! Congrats to you on such an awesome event!

I'd love to do a meet up, but I'm so busy I don't really know if I'll be able to at all. Two jobs this summer, finishing my last class, and need to work on a resume for a real job in my field of study... just to name a few, lol.

Hmmm we'll be on our way up for vacation in Glen Arbor around that time and we were just thinking our daughter was old enough for a festival, plus we'll have an exchange student from Russia with us and I so want to see you all in action. We might see if we can swing by and visit.

Sounds like fun. I am working on a Silicone tail right now. If I get it done in time I will definitely have to come on by for some mer-fun!!
