First monofin. Also--grrrr!

So I just bought my first monofin off eBay. The seller said it was brand new in original packaging. Well, he lied. It is scuffed up like crazy. I wouldn't mind so much, but I wouldn't have paid so much for it if I had known.
but that's not the worst--the foot strap is completely broken off!!

Can't open up eBay's resolution center on my iPhone. I have no computer. Gonna have to go to the library tomorrow and use theirs.
but seriously, eBay seller?! I mean, he wrapped it up in a garbage bag to mail it.

But yeah, this is the second time I get stiffed on eBay (different seller, of course). I think I'm gonna swear off it. I'll buy my fins straight from finis or something. More expensive, but at least they won't arrive broken.

I got mine on Amazon, and had free shipping (plus I have Prime so I got it in 2 days)

Yeah, I've never been cheated on Amazon. Walked to the library this morning and got the buyer protection thing going.
