Hi Adella! I had a couple questions - are the earrings Sterling silver or something like that? I'm allergic to nickel-plated earrings and can only wear gold, silver/Sterling silver.

Can you swim in the hair clips or are they really for dry events only? (i.e. are they extremely delicate?)

The earrings only have the loop so you can attach your own earring piece. That way if someone needs non Nickel, they can just attach it themselves.

The hair clips are standard clips from Walmart and everything is hot glued. I havent been able to test mine out swimming uet so my best regards are that they are dry event only (until further notice)

Oh hey those would be awesome! :o How are the earring decorum attached to the base? Do you have a hook in the back that I could use to attach the earring hooks to? Jeez I hope that makes sense. @_@

Octavia-- they have metal loops baked into the top of the pieces but if I make a custom set I can do them however you like. I am hoping once my finger is healed (bad bad BAD accident with my clay blade today. Nerine heard me scream while on the phone with her) I am going to make clay shells

Thanks Octavia...as far as I could tell it was a clean cut that wont need stitches...just one of those freak accidents that i learned from. I went to michaels today and found sterling silver fish hook earrings for 2.99 for 60 pieces. (so 30 earring pairs) so I have some of those now as well. Bought more sea shells to work on necklaces, earrings, and barrettes...
