My last camera was a Kodak PlayFull Waterproof camera that could go down 10 feet. ._. It stopped working after two times of using it in the pool to make my first video. So now, I want to make more videos since its warm, and I need a new camera. Preferably one that is actually waterproof, because due to some reviews I'm led to believe that water got in it somehow and killed it. So.. any ideas?
Requirements:
Waterproof (duh~)
Goes down at least 10 feet, 3 meters, whatever.
Good quality
Has a screen (I like seeing what I film and stuff)

.. Lend a fin?

Well, if all else fails and you can't find a waterproof camera, on Ebay they have some cheap bags for cameras. (I have one on the way)

I've heard a lot of people say the GoPro waterproof is a good one.

GoPro is a good one, but it doesn't come with a viewfinder- you have to buy one for an additional $80. With SIM card and LCD $530. If you leave the LCD on it makes it so it's only a hour of battery life, so if you want extra batteries that's another $30. It adds up quick!

There are a lot of point and shoot cameras that are decent quality for $200-$300. Just look through reviews wherever you can. With a waterpoof camera I would advise to buy from a seller or a store that has a good return policy. Waterproof cameras can have flaws, like yours probably had, so it's important that if it does and quits working the first time like that then you can return it. Best Buy and Amazon are both great with returns.

If you dig through some of the threads in this section you'll find some recommendations by others (there are more like this one (http://mernetwork.com/index/showthread.php?4338-Good-Cameras-Need-advice!) if you look). Good luck in finding your camera! :)

I've got a great sony underwater, has a touch screen LCD, had it for 4 years. They make great point and shoots. It's how I've done most of my underwater photography and video. They don't make the model anymore, but just check out sony underwater camera point and shoots and I'm sure there's a variety of them to choose from. I paid 300$ for mine and it was worth every penney.

Here's a few examples:
