We need a new map!

We have threads here & in the Pod forums about where to swim, but it's hard to sort through them all to find what you're looking for. What if we put them all together & make a companion to the Member Map on the top bar? Instead of showing where we're located, it can show where we can find a place to swim that's nearby, or equidistant for a group meeting.
Unless it turns out we already have one, in which case I'm going to feel really silly...

To be honest its unlikely that I can do it, but I'll look into it. Can you give more details on what you're suggesting? You're saying, what if the member map could indicate locations where people could meet up to swim?

I know there is a Javascript API app that is supposed to allow it; I've never worked with it so I don't know how complicated it is, or (more importantly) how much maintenance it requires. I'll see what I can find out.
