Does anybody use a waterproof holder for keys, wallet, etc. while swimming? Where does it go, how much?

I have one, just in case there is no locker or place I can put my key for my car, and I have to take it with me. However, I have yet to actually use it.

I have a rainbow colored purse I use as my 'mermaid purse' and I made it. it has a longer strap that goes around me like a sling. I use it to hold trinkets and other stuff.

I think they sell waterproof wallet sized pouches at most sports stores, near the diving, boating, or fishing sections. You could pretty easily make a hip pouch or purse around one.
