Household Decorations!

I haven't seen anything like this, so I figured I'd start it!

Lets see everyone's mermaid house hold decorations!

Here's what I got today.

(The mermaid statue I already had. I got the shell stand for a few dollars at a thrift store!)

Actually, we had planned to give our whole cellar a makeover.

We wanted to put a swim basin in there, and in the process, I had planned to furnish the room in such a manner it would give the illusion of being wholly underwater- dimmed greenish light, walls and tiles in shades of blue, the walls decorated with (waterproof) pictures of underwater caves and corals and maybe a mermaid castle, so the illusion of swimming deep underwater would be perfect.

Sadly, it all came to naught when we found out our house isn't meant to have a basin, neither indoor nor outdoors :(
so disappointed.
I might furnish some other room ocean-like though.

Awesome! That sucks that you won't have a swim basin, but what about your bathroom? I think a undersea bathroom theme would be awesome!

Sadly it was the only one I could find at the thrift store. If there had been a pair, I would have gotten both.
