So I'm making a neoprene tail (Not sure wether I'm adding scales yet, depends on how much money I get) But I don't know what paint you are meant to use and I've had a look through the forums and haven't found anything. So do I use createx paint, fabric paint, acrylic???? Just so many types I could use, please help!!!!!

I use acrylic paint, it takes a few coats (depending on the color of your neoprene) but it looks beautiful and can take a whole lot of stretching and water. Hope that helps!

I started my neoprene tail with Acrylic paint. An Carolina Mermaid you are correct. It does take a few coats. Then I went to Speed Ball fabric paint. It worked better. But if you are to use Acrylic paint be sure to mix fabric medium in with it, it gives it the flex you need.11286
