the oscar my uncle had was very much like this. Whenever we brought a camera near his huge tank, he went crazy! He really hammed it up....

What an awesome fish!! Really not a fan of that sea walker suit idea, though. I don't think people should be encouraged to walk around on the sea floor and disturb the benthic marine environment. I thought Queensland was more enviro-conscious....when I did all my scuba courses they always emphasized buoyancy control and being aware of yourself so you don't bang into the reef and kill corals and scrape things up.

As far as I'm aware they have a 'trail' that they follow that is carefully observed to avoid crushing any wildlife or coral. :) And I'd guarantee you anyone who has paid for this experience would've had the rules about no touching and safety of themselves/creatures given to them by the trained professionals before they were even put into their wetsuits :)

What a smart parrot fish! He sure does love the attention! The divers seem to like it too! Just watch out for those teeth, they are used for ripping coral, and could take quite a nip out of your finger... as the saying goes... please don't feed fingers to the fishes! LOL What fun this place seems to be!

I've never seen a parrot fish do that! It's so cute when he's turned sideways and has a big grin on his face!
