So it's stressed for tail swimming and maintenance not to immerse the tail in warm or hot water.

I always rinse and wash my tail with cold water;
but during my last swim, I tried out a saltwater outdoor pool (heated) which was fairly warm after the cool swimmer basin, and I asked myself: how warm is too warm?

It's hard to guess the exact temperature of water, especially if it's cold outside, or one was in cooler water previously, but my estimate is that pool had at least 35° C.

So what is too warm for tails of different materials?
Any ideas?
