Hey guys! I've got a tail painting venture in the works with a tail maker, but until it takes off I thought I'd offer to hand paint neoprene tail skins. I do not sew, (or not well enough for this anyway) but if you have a completed neoprene skins and a design you would like to see come to life, I'm your mer! If you haven't already seen it, here's my own tail that I painted:
11383
11384
11385
I made a couple mini skins with sample paint jobs, I'll post those later today.
Price will start at 200 and will go up from there depending on the intricacy of the design, not the number of colors. Sequins are extra, but if you supply them to me I will only charge for the time to hand stitch them rather than that and material cost. Turn around time will be 3-6 weeks depending on colors and sequins if you choose to have those added. If you have any questions for me, or would like me to do a sample of your design, let me know. :)

hehe, I always pretty much assumed I'd make a tail then have somebody paint it. I never feel like painting is part of my stronger skill set. Glad to know this is something people are willing to do.

I'm actually trying to learn, but I the machine I have doesn't do an overlock stitch, which I think is important. Maybe I'm wrong....
at any rate, thanks for the props, guys. I really love painting- I've always worked in oil on canvas... it was pretty cool to be able to shift to a medium I can wear!

Stunning work :) May I ask where you purchased your Neoprene to create your tail?

@Mystic- the neoprene for this tail was earned in trade for teaching mermaid classes. I ordered from foamorder.com for the neoprene I am currently using.
