I once avoided a car wreck because of a dream the night before where I saw the whole thing unfold (where on the road I was, raining lightly, etc). I reacted differently than I normally would, because I already knew the outcome if I just did what came naturally. Scared the crap out of me.

Not really dreams, but I've always had this.. "Image" in my head about what my perfect guy would be and look like, from his appearance right down to the way he talks. My WHOLE LIFE I have had that image, but I always brushed it off as fantasy. Well, here I am dating that very same person, after being friends with him online for 5 years (I never met him or even seen him until a few days after we got together). In 4 days we'll have been together a year and still going as strongly as the day we first met.
It's amazing, that my imagination came up with this fantasy that turned out to be a real person. So, with that in mind, I'm definitely open to this xD
I also had a dream of someone I use to knows house exploding in a big ball of flames. 10 minutes later after I told him, he got home and there was a gas leak in his house that he was able to stop before that happened. Has nothing to do with finding your dream lover but, same concept xD
I fully believe magic exists in fact I study it, I live and breathe magic probably a bit more than "normal" or more than I should/should publicly admit lol

That sounds a lot like the law of attraction that they talk about in The Secret. Really cool!

I'm a bit of a sceptic about most things like this - certainly in the first example, she drew her dream guy, so it's no wonder she chose people on dating websites who matched that description xD
That being said, there's lots of things we don't know about the world that seem awe-inspiring, which could still have perfectly scientific explanations (electro-magnetic senses, unconscious memory serving as déjà vu, etc) so who knows? :)

Science is still pretty awesome though :) All things considered, even the complexities behind the biology, cognition, and sociology behind making something like this a reality is nothing short of miraculous.

Exactly :) it's all amazing stuff. And 100 years ago a lot of what we take for granted today would have seemed like magic, so I don't doubt that in the future we will have figured out more and more about how our world works, and be able to harness that.
