My measurements are waist 30 hips 33 ankles 14. I'm about a 2-4 in woman sizes. I was hoping this tail would have more give but it is too small for me. It is such a beautiful tail though. If you are interested I am just looking to sell this for what I paid for it. 300$ plus shipping to wherever you are at..

Yeah she had two up that were the smaller sizes. This one was the larger of the two and I thought it was such a great deal, I had to purchase it. But as pretty as it is. I don't want to just own a tail, I want to own a tail I can actually wear.

Gosh, that is tiny tiny tiny. I mean, I'm tiny, only 5'3 and I'm underweight working on my weight, but I couldn't even fit into that. o_o

Hehe, thank you Kakarotte. :P I'm only fourteen! So I was actually like, hey, a tail! :P I wonder if it'd fit. Then I went and checked and nope. I might double check in a minute though, but still, that tail is itty-bitty. There are quite a few younger mers on here, wait a few days for us to all see it before you try eBay. That's what I recommend, anyway!

Just double checked my measurements...WOW. My hips are 32 inches around--29 is small. Hopefully you can find a new owner for the tail!!

11? Wow little girls grow so fast nowadays. MerEmma is one inch smaller then me around the hips and I have 10 years on her. Thanks for the Goodluck Ariel starfish, the bid is up to 100$ now and I've had three people request it at a buy it now price, they have wrote my long messages about how it's always been there dream to be a mermaid, lol, I felt weird reading them cuz I so remember doing the same thing a few weeks ago when I was trying to win this tail. Lol. I did stress to them tho about the sizing and made it clear this is for a child and not an adult but I don't think they care , they probably think like me and think they can squeeze into it , let me tell you, silicone tails r hard to get into ! Lol . And neotail, I'm a religious watcher of game of thrones too, I'm so sad there won't be a episode tomorow, I'm so excited so season finale tho, I read the book and totally kno what's gana happen but I wana visually see it played out. And dany is my fav. I want her to win the throne , Martin needs to finish writing the books !!!

Wow, it's true though about how weird sizing is (I want to say "today" but I haven't been around long enough to know that, lol!). I'm sure there are some adults who can fit into it, and hopefully someone ends up very happy with such a small-sized tail.

Ithlindil, check it out on eBay, it's a beautiful tail. Maybe you can talk your family and friends into pitching in for you to have it ? This tail is normally $1,200 , for my asking price, this really is a great deal and you might not get this chance for a while.

Actually my hips are 30" but my waist is 24". The other measurements are spot on for me... Could I take it in?

The silicone is very thick. I don't think it would be possible to sow this, it is how ever machine sowed so idk. I'm not much of a seamstress, I'm sure you could take the stitching out and re sow it with the right sowing machine ? I would imagine the needle breaking trying to get through two layers of pure silicone though.
