i am currently in the process of making a neoprene and latex tail and i was just wondering if anyone has any ideas about materials for the fringing on the fluke and dorsal. would also be interesting to find out what mermaids like hannah (see picture:)) use for their fringing. thankyou :)xx 11572

Vinyl floor matting or shelf liner is what Hannah uses. Check out this thread

I used fringing from the craft store that is used on clothing and such, though I recommend the shorter looped kind as the long single strand (where it get cut off and started again) frays really easily after swimming as mine did, I'll put some pictures in my folder later to show what I mean as I suck at explaining.
