Merman belt or anklet?

Ok I found my netting an I have my shark teeth an a few shells. I am not sure what one to make. The netting I have is over 10 foot by 7 foot so I have plenty. But how do I keep the teeth an shells from falling off? Any ideas?

If you can, drill little holes in the teeth and shells then use thin beading wire to tie them on. Or you could glue them

that would work perfectly. I've found the plastic kind is a pain to tie and keep from falling apart but that may be just me :p
