So just wanna brag here for a second! I am the girlfriend of the owner for Lollyphile (http://www.lollyphile.com/), and we are getting national press for our new lollypop flavor!!! It was my idea (it was obvious) and I am totes proud of my self and my amazing slash hot boyfriend!!!

That is so cool. When I was nursing I really wanted to make Ice cream with my milk, for when the baby was teething, but I got sick at 6 months and dried all up. :(

oh god i read the headline and thought "wait what??? it's made out of breast milk??"

and then i read the article. :P glad it's not actually made outta breast milk LOL..

Yes! Breast milk Ice cream! I would love to try that!

We actually got the idea when our friend had a premature baby. Our friend had to pump all the time while she waited for her baby to be old enough to come home. (the baby is now totally heathy, beautiful, happy, and home with her mommy). There was a lot of extra milk around. It seemed like we should try it. We did. It was such a special and sweet thing. So, we captured the flavor.... and the result was..."Yum!"

Interesting, I've never tried it. Perhaps a child might like it.
