Progress on my neoprene tail

So I finished painting!11710 I regret using spray paint because I feel like the paint job looks sloppy. Oh well, next time I know to use different paint.

I also did a scale test and ran into some issues. I used silicone for the scales and pressed a net into the silicone while it was curing. I think I took the net off too early and got this. 11711

Any tricks to getting a cleaner look when pulling off the netting? Besides letting it cure all the way haha
