Hey fishy friends!

I've got a pink magictail since 2 years and I'm thinking about pimping it. Making it a little bit individual....

Has anyone of you have any ideas?

I was thinking about sewing scales with 2,9-sequins.... maybe pink, violet, golden or transparent... would be nice to sew little side fins on the tail... but I don't know what is the best material...

I'd be happy to get some extra ideas, maybe stories about pimping and experiences... and I hope you understand my rusty english... ;)

Greetings from the Alps!

I think I remember back in the day Sora did that but there was some problems with it becoming too tight around the monofin or something? I can't remember I'm sure there's a thread around here somewhere!

Hm.... this thread I can't find... but there are some guys who made a sequin tail... think that must be rather the same... the "underground" to sew is the Magictail...

But a good question would be... there are different sizes... i found some 1,9 cm im an online shop... but i've to wait 4 weeks because the gold run out...

Is this too small... I really admire the fins of Mermaid Kariel... the look like bigger sequins sometimes... *thinking*

What one could do if sequins won't work, is sewing on a dorsal and/or pectoral fins.

If they match the main colour, but are slightly translucent, that'd improve the looks a lot imo.
You'll find many examples of pectoral and dorsal fins if you look around a bit.

Yes, I was thinking about a dorsal fin too... maybe I'll sew it before the sequins... but until now I have not found the right material...

hmmm... right now i'm ordering the sequins... hope 5000 19mm are enough...

Haha... finally I got the sequins some time ago but now I startet with the bra... just trying how to sew the sequins the best not to loose every flexibility... It costs a mess of time but I think it will look great!

What do you think about it?
