I own a silicone-neoprene tail.
After being pretty disappointed with my FishButt's paint job (she didn't follow my design), I've decided that I'd like to get it redone by somebody. However, the paint is below the silicone (a feature that I really like) so I'd have to get all that taken off too. Is that possible?
What's more, I've been thinking...my favorite thing about full-silicone tails is the flowing fluke, an effect that isn't achieved to my liking with neoprene. Could I remove the neoprene fluke (from what I can tell, the tail was made in two parts) and attach a silicone one? Would this fall apart?
Could I find a tail maker who would be willing to do both services for me?
Any advice welcome!
