So when I was trying to figure out what monofin I was going to be placing in the fluke of my silicone tail (still in the works) I knew I wanted it to have a large blade. The Finis Competitor monofins have a redic. blade size. However, my feet are on the small end. I wear a size 5.5 in heels, 5 in flats, and a 6 with socks in sneakers. So finding a monofin that foot pockets will not blister my feet or slide right off was a challenge.
Waterway is perfect. The Model 2 have a blade that is 25" by 26" roughly and I was able to order a 5.5 foot pocket size. Shipping was fast and reasonable. I could not be happier.
I will indeed be taking this to the lake this weekend to test it out. I read many reviews on this product and look forward to seeing it in action.

This is how it looks coming out of the large cardboard packing box

Had to put it on right away. I purchased 3mm neoprene socks just in case. So far (due to it not being broken it) I do not need them!

You can get a better feel for the size with this picture. It is a nice size blade!!
It is very comfy and a nice supported snug fit. The heels are open which is great due to my high arches.
