Would this work?, how to?, videos, tail update...

Hi, I want to try to make the bump between fin and calf. And I was thing of putting something there. What would be a good thing to use? Because it also has to Look normal when not bent. Also, anyone know how to make a disappearing waistline with fabric that looks realistic? And I'm going to be using thick plastic folders for the extended part of my fluke. Here's a picture of my design (and please do not use with put my permission):

The picture doesn't do it justice. It has scales all the way down to the first part of the fluke and them there are polka dots of different sizes. Then frill for side fins and dorsal. I'm using tulip paint an long with a nice puffy paint brand and a metallic fabric marker. All three are metallic silver from Joann's.

e to tell you that soon my friends and I are going to make a series on YouTube. And it's nothing you would expect. It has more teenage-adult content. Such as dark magic, death, plot twist. And back around stories. I will keep all of you posted on my tail and series progress.

Something else I would like to know is how much should I charge for my detailed designs? They are going to be to exact measurements and wand like colors, fish, animals, etc. they are very professional as you can see in my album. But none of those are for sale or copy. In Medusirena Marina's older youtube videos her ankles are about as thick as her calves. I'm pretty sure she's wearing leg warmers or really thick socks. Either way, you can get this affect by doing that instead of trying to sew something in your tail :) Easier and cheaper with a good look to it!

So another question... Would this work for coating my tail and bra so it is protected? Because I have sequins and paint of my tail and on my bra I have shark teeth, shells, sea glass, sequins, and aquarium plants. I would like to use this to totect them a little more than the waterproof glue. I saw it in another thread an wondered if it would work. My mom got it for me so u wanted to make sure it would before I use it. Thanks guys and please reply ASAP! I mer to finish my tail at least before Saturday!

I've never used mod podge for anything I've submerged.... Though I've never used the acrylic spray sealer myself, usually just the regular paste and outdoor stuff. I imagine it's made to be waterproof, so it SHOULD be. Though if you put it on your tail, it might get a bit stiff....

Thanks for your input! I was going to use it on my bra mostly. But also only on the tail where I'm putting sequins and paint. So patches on the body and the fluke. That's already stiff. And the patches would be too because of the sequins. So what your saying or what I'm mostly asking is, will it only make it look shiny and not gummy? Like would it look the way it did before I sprayed maybe with a little extra shine?

I'm gonna test it on something. Like a scrap price of fabric. See what happens. Shall tell you. ;)

It's always wise to do a small test first, as you never know 100% how your materials will react with each other; however, it should be fine. Mod podge has always dried clear and completely transparent for me. Added sheen of course is dependent on the type of the mod podge. I love the matte stuff because it's essentially invisible, but I've used the gloss stuff too with pleasing results, as it gives a "glassy" look to things.

Ya I just tested it before soccer and found that it doesn'tt make it stiff and it is like I didn't even spray it!finishing my to tonight. Will post pics in my tail thread and hopefully finish sewing and at least almost done with my detailing. Will post pictures of that too. :) ;)
