I hope this is in the right place lol. I recently went on vacation to South Carolina. While I was there I went to Ripley's Aquarium! I stayed at Breakers Hotel, which is right on the beach and pretty close to Ripley's. The aquarium was great! I saw almost of everything there, even the mermaid dive show. I'm not a very social person. I mean I like talking and making friends but I hate crowded places. Before going to South Carolina my family and I vacationed in Washington, D.C. We saw most of the monuments and museums and I loved all the attractions but... all the people. Omg there were people everywhere! I hated it! Ripley's was no exception :/ I don't want to say I hate people but I hate annoying tourists lol. The mermaid dive show was boring. The song the mermaids swam to was stupid, the only trick they did was one bubble heart kiss, and any other time they were underwater they were dancing (as in shaking their fists like maracas that's all). The show was definitely geared towards little kids who probably don't care what the mermaids do? As long as they see them. :p The water at the beach was amazing and beautiful. The pools were great and I've had a wonderful time. I still can't figure out who made the tails the mermaids were wearing at the dive show.anyways I just wanted to share my experience. I hope this thread turned out okay. Lol it turned out a lot longer than I wanted it to. I hope I stayed on subject pretty well to because I proofread this and I realized it was super hard to stay on subject.

I love myrtle beach, my family and I go ever summer. We love the breakers but they upped their prices so we stayed at the hotel that the same people who made the breakers it's called the Caribbean resort and villas. It's fun too they have an awesome water slide. They aren't far from eachother. I believe the Mertailor made their tails. So do you suggest ripleys as a fun place to go? I wanted to go last year but we didn't. So we thought of going this year.

I definatley suggest Ripley's and if you want to see the mermaid dive show get there fourty minutes early if you want a seat. You can even go on YouTube to watch an example of the show to see if you like it.
