Hi, I'm Matanzas

I'm Mermaid Matanzas, from Florida! I've practically grown up in the water, when I first went to the beach, my mom had to chase after to keep me from going head first into the waves! I've pretty much been obsessed with mermaids since I first watched Ariel, but just last year I made my first tail. Last week, I made a newer, faster, more realistic one and love it! I'm in high school, so I don't quite have the money for a professional tail.....but I've started a YouTube channel as Mermaid Matanzas so far with a few vids in my old tail and a vid showing how I made my most recent one because I aspire to go professional (as in terms of an entertainer at birthday parties) and to spread awareness of marine conservation soon! Any tips you have for me for my channel or for tail-making or anything in general about this site would be appreciated! I am having trouble uploading a profile pic that seems to meet the sizing requirements, but keeps showing "error". Any help?

Welcome. As for your profile picture be sure it is below 1500 magapixels I would go around 1200 to be safe.

I do! Just outside of it actually. Matanzas is one of my favorite natural areas to visit and inspired the name of my mermaid alter ego :)
