PS I have to add that I think his work is top notch. Why do people have issues with him ? From what I see of him in videos on youtube, I really admire him and his work a LOT! If I were buying a tail instead of making one, he's on the top of the list of who I would go to.

People *had* issues with him. I don't know if they still are, but from what I remember, it was from when he was first getting a lot of interest and it was overwhelming. Feel free to read past reviews, but I think his silicone tails are much better than his latex ones.

Yes I read the threads about him and the comments were all over the place but highly negative. Seemingly not related to the product I was seeing. Felt as if something deeper was afoot in the deep sentiments as there was a total incongruence in the comments I was reading and the superior product I was looking at.

Idk if that's the still the case. If I could afford a tail from him I might risk the bullshit caused because his tails are so well done but finfolk and merbellas are just as pretty in my opinion

^ This, but I also think that Merbella and Finfolk seem to do their seams better than he does for the average customer as well. I have seen some seams on the side of tails that people have gotten and I would be absolutely livid if that were a tail I had spent money on.

Just a little bit ago I found a place where I could message her. I hope it is the correct place. But I sent her a message for her to contact me an I can give her all the information hopefuly for her an her friend to join us here on Mernetwork. It would be really cool if she an her friend did. Long story short, many people were sold terrible tails (myself included) and Eric petitioned to have the reviews removed from the old mernetwork website. There was some fake account happening and that sort of thing, so it's the whole reason we are now mernetwork, as opposed to meryuku the old one. Unfortunately, there were some issues with his BF coming on mernet and not being the kindest to people with issues/concerns, and there were some things that went down on FB etc. So I think there's a lot of bad blood between Eric and the community. I also receive emails on a regular basis about issues with his tails even now, and some are the silicone tails (there's pretty evident stuff in some recent reviews that you can see the photos with your own eyes)

THAT BEING SAID, I do believe Eric has been working his tail off to make things with the community better. He and I both reached out to each other to try and move past all the crap between us and I think it's been for the better. Also, in helping out Raven, I have come to really appreciate what Eric has been dealing with. And I totally get why some people's complaints are bogus- it has more to do with them not having an accurate expectation of what a tail will be like, moreso than his craftsmen ship. He still has some issues to work out with his tails I think, but he's a machine pumping them out and I can appreciate how tricky it can be, a lot more now.

At the end of the day, I think mertailor is in a much better place with the community, and that he's also lifting the community up. He makes things possible for so many people, and all this media attention he gets trickles down to everyone. No one I have ever met in real life in my country knows who Hannah or Melissa is, but everyone knows who Eric is, and when I tell them I'm a mermaid, they suddenly now know what that means!

if you watch the video you'll see it's mostly down to lots of extensions :P and it'll have been professionally styled for the shoot but it's not hard to do with extensions and a curling iron/waver and a bunch of hair spray and probably some texturiser like salt spray and/or wax

oh and the end of the project says it's for saveourseas.org so perhaps it's a project which is working towards a book or something to raise money for it? idk
