Sorry I've been so gone lately. I was on vacation in South Carolina. :p

Anyway! I need a little help (hopefully this is the right thread)... I'm terrible at selling things, haha.

I'm selling my gently used, jet black Washburn Electric Guitar. It looks brand new, seeing as I've only used it two or three times. The only reason I'm selling it is because a) I don't like the feel of it (I've never been much of a Washburn fan, but it was so gorgeous I couldn't help but give it a shot), b) it's taking up room in my closet and collecting dust inside it's case, and c) I feel bad letting such a kickass guitar just sit. She needs to be played! I'm getting rid of the large amplifier because I recently got a new, better one.

I wanted to get around $350-450 dollars out of them (I'm selling them together). Honestly, I'd like to just get them out of my hair - but at the same time I'd like to get some money out of them (I can put it toward a new tail, aww yeah).

So, my lovely fellow mers: Is my asking price too high? Too low? I'm honestly unsure. :L

(on the off-chance someone might be interested in the guitar: feel free to message me. i haven't put it up for sale anywhere else yet since I'm so unsure of what to sell it for, haha)

Thanks in advance! xx

ps: i'll put some pictures up sometime later, i'm on my mum's computer right now and i've got the pictures on my laptop... which i left at my friend's house and can't get until tomorrow. blarg x)

Well I have owned a few quitars an amps my self. To start what kind of amp? Fender? Pevey? Plus what how many watts is the amp? Washburn is a good guitar. Does it have humbuckers or singles or a combination of both an how many? All these are a factor on what you can get for the 2. Depending also is there any marks or scratches on the body of the guitar? Plus I would look up what the guitar is going for on ebay just to give you a base price then you can figure out a little more with the amp.

it's tricky, guitar kits sell for pretty cheap now. amp+guitar for under 300$, try ebaying your guitar to see what it's generally going for these days.

Most of those kits are for acoustics (at least from what I've seen). Plus, this is a Washburn--which is a really nice brand. I bought the guitar for $600 new, so I'd like to get a little something more out of it... I do get what you're saying, though. There are tons of cheap guitar & amp kits out there now. I may just stick it on Craigslist so I don't have to ship anything and just take it somewhere, haha. :p

Thanks for the advice, though! <3
