Tall Ships Festival

We went to the tall ships festival and all I could think was 'they need some mermaids here!' If any of you wanted to form a little performance troupe, you'd be a hit over there.

They go all over the Great Lakes. Right now they are in Cleveland.

I was scheduled to be the mermaid at Tall Ships in bay city this year but I just took over as the mermaid liaison for the mermaid lagoon starting in 2014 for the Michigan Pirate Festival so I had to cancel

Ooohhh, when??? I'm heading back to Chicago the night of thursday the 8th/friday morning. I'm busy the evenings of the 9th, 10th, and 11th, but I could do earlier in the day on any of those I think!! :)

Aww, Marissa. I wish I had seen this. :/ I went to see the tall ships today! It was a lot of fun. We went on all the ships that were available for boarding. Although I didn't go full mer, I did wear my silver shell necklace and had time to re-dye my hair teal.

My random moment today happened when my sister asked to take a picture of a teen's Ariel backpack, and she recognized me from substituting in one of her classes last year! I was like, I hope I made a good impression! lol

Ha! No. Only because I'd probably have to get up around 4am to get ready and make it there in time. :S

And Nami, you might be able to check facebook/google tall ships in the great lakes to see where they're at. ^^
