Syrena's first night swim! (aka what I do when my underwater cam is spazzing out)

These were taken with a Canon DSLR. No underwater photography, as my mertender and I are still figuring out our video camera. I was just pleasantly surprised at how these pictures turned out (okay, ignoring the little bits of over-exposure) despite the low light (it was nighttime at the pool at his condominium). It's great what a little Enhance tool and a good filter can do!

I'm just an amateur mermaid, but out of little dreams can (eventually, and 2.5k for a silicone tail in January later) come big things, and you guys are an immense inspiration to me.

Oh, and I know my top is too basic, but it's all I had atm. :( Singapore isn't exactly mermaid-paradise, so I'm working on it! Hopefully I find a nice, seaweedy one on Etsy soon.

Thank you guys! :) Hopefully I can slowwwwly graduate to doing underwater photography, a lot of the pictures I see floating around this forum are amazing.
Octavia-- it's actually just a fabric Magictail, surprise, surprise! I think the main reasons it doesn't look like one are 1) this was at night, and 2) never underestimate the power of filters. I'm still looking to fix that gap at the end of my fluke, but the scale pattern does look very pretty in night lighting. :D
