Mermaid Prince Calypso "Considering selling my fishbutts tail"

I am taking a bit of a break from mermaiding till i can save up enough money to either buy a finfolk mermaid tail or complete construction on my H2O/POC mermaid tail and as such i am currently considering selling my Purple Fishbutts tail.

Its only been used about seven times and only actually swam in four times.

aww, don't sell your tail! It's totally you, and you may reeeeaaallllyyyy regret it.... Take a break if you gotta, but think over selling very carefully. The money is already spent, after all. I took a short break- you may remember my temper tantrum over that lol.... but in the end I pulled my monofins and slid them under the bed and carefully folded my skins and put them in a safe place.... in about a week I really started missing seeing my tails hanging over the bar on my closet, and I was really glad I kept them. Of course if you really feel it's the right thing to do, more power to you- if that's the case I hope it finds a nice home quickly. :)

So I am actually only just beginning my Mermaid adventures and my last tail died about two years ago. I caulked the rip in it so many times that eventually the "scar" just wouldn't stick closed again. I've been looking for a new one and unfortunately been attempting to re-build my budget as of late, but do not have $300 as of yet. I should by the end of August though so if you're still considering swimming free of it, THEN, please shoot me a message as it is a beautiful tail I'd love it to be my second.

I'm still a little unsure if selling it is 100% what i want to do but the 300 i get from it could go to getting a new better tail or toward my plans to make my own. I do love the tail but it doesn't really get any use in my little desert town of Bakersfield Ca. Im the only mer in my area and my tail doesn't really get much use. I mean i might still change my mind or i might even regret selling it but i think the ends will justify the means

Calypso- first of all, I don't suggest selling your tail, but that's mostly because I love all of mine and couldn't stand the thought of selling them. secondly, I have to ask, which monofin is in yours? I believe I bought a fish butt tail around the time you did and I had to do a lot of work to get the monofin right, but it's perfect now. I love your tail, and if you really do want to sell it, I hope you don't regret it. thirdly, I think Lotus had a good idea. hide your tail somewhere you won't see it for a week or two and then see if you miss it or not.
